Kundan JadauÂ
Kundan Jadau is a traditional jewellery-setting technique in which thin sheets of pure gold are carefully shaped to secure Polki (uncut diamonds) or gemstones without visible prongs. The gold foil is meticulously pressed and refined by hand, creating a seamless setting that highlights the natural beauty and brilliance of each stone.
Chasing (Chitrai)Â
Chasing is a centuries-old metalworking technique used to create intricate raised and engraved designs entirely by hand. The metal is carefully supported with traditional pitch while skilled artisans shape detailed patterns using specialized tools, giving every piece exceptional depth, texture, and character.
Finishing ProcessÂ
Every piece undergoes a meticulous finishing process that includes filing, surface correction, sanding, polishing, and final buffing. Rather than rushing production, we carefully refine every detail to achieve a clean finish, smooth edges, and a lasting shine that reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ball Making
Each hollow gold ball begins as two individually hand-formed domes. The halves are precisely joined, fused using controlled heat, and carefully finished to achieve a perfectly round shape with a smooth, seamless surface. These handcrafted balls are widely used as decorative elements in traditional jewellery.
